What is Yakult?

Yakult is a probiotic milk beverage containing Yakult’s exclusive probiotic L.casei strain Shirota (LcS).

LcS was discovered by a Japanese scientist Dr.Minoru Shirota in 1930.

As around 70% of our immune cells lie in the digestive system, it is very important to have a good digestion. Better is the health of your digestive system, better will be your overall health.

What does Yakult do?

As we all know that our digestive system is a home to trillions of bacteria. Out of them, few are beneficial ones and few are harmful. Beneficial bacteria help in improving our immune system and digestion. Whereas harmful bacteria hinder the work of useful bacteria and release the harmful substance in our body and affect our overall health.

Moreover, not following a proper diet and lack of good sleep, and taking stress can put our digestive system at more risk. This further helps those harmful bacteria to grow.

Here arises the work of Yakult. Drinking Yakult helps in increasing the number of useful bacteria in our digestive system and hinders the growth of harmful bacteria.
